Thank goodness this little gem in NW Alabama was spared by the tornadoes that hit in April! There is good bass fishing from shore, and a great boat ramp if you happen to own a boat. There's even a little playground for the kids. Most sites are waterfront and the cost is very reasonable.

Twin Forks on TVA's Upper Bear Creek Lake in Bear Creek, Alabama is a combination of a campground, baseball fields, playground, and boat launch. The boat launch and lake require a BCDA permit available at local service stations in Bear Creek and Wal Mart stores in Haleyville or Russellville.
