Breathtaking view over surroundings. The church is painted in modern art style, definitely unusual.

Sound and light show is a highlight of any trip to Veliko Tarnovo. It can be difficult to predict when it will happen, but persevere, and ask your hotel to check if it will be on that evening.

I enjoyed the nice view and the pleasant walk through the ruins.

Compared to what I was expecting it was very large. There must have been a big court there. The location is very strategical chosen, very easy to defend. Try and go in the morning or late afternoon, otherwise the sun will get you.

You must go there if you visit Veliko.The former church is a piece of art.
