The penguin colony on Chiloe Island is a great way to see these amazing creatures. We took an afternoon tour from Ancud which drove us down to the colony. “Worth the rough road trip”

This was a fun thing to do and worth the drive in along the rough road which is currently being repaired. The fishermen have it all worked out to get you out to the islands without getting wet feet (you can't land on the islands as they are protected).
