I really enjoyed Yangshou. It is a very relaxed, charming place. Has wonderful little stores and restaurants overlooking canals and old walkways.
I came primarily for the performance the evening before, not knowing how much I would actually enjoy the town itself! I spent three quarters of a day here, but could have easily spent more time, exploring. Scenic spot...

Description: Yangren Street (foreigner street) or more commonly called West Street, looks basically like Bourbon Street in New Orleans without the class, vodoo, or the cool French architecture.
