They have the best nuts in town (actually I dont know of another place). They have roasted, and boiled! My vote is for the cajun boiled. I believe they only accept cash, but don't worry the prices wont break your wallet... Go early on Sat because they close around noon and I don't think that they are open on Sundays!... more

This is an interesting little spot, I had hopes that it was going to be something more. Nice stone street in front. Small, open store front. Interesting old peanut roasting machines. The Peanut Depot is WONDERFUL!!! A great stop for visitors, and a great source of absolutely fresh, delicious peanuts. The Peanut Depot has been operating in the same location for 99 years. It's in an old building with nothing but peanuts and hopeful pigeons on the pavement outside. (They keep some shelled peanuts for children to feed to the pigeons.)... more
