Nice trip on the water taxi to the old town. A few toomany cruise ship tourists but nice little shops and eating places.

Do the city walls - you need about 2 hours at least for this and the cost of 70kuna is worth it for the views alone as well as other aspects that would not otherwise be seen

I have been to Cavtat on 4 occasions and will return again - it is so laid back and relaxing - no noisy bars - nice restaurants and small bars along the harbour for people watching.If you really want to relax this is a wonderful picturesque location

Old town is beautiful very traditional and try the ice cream its excellent.

it does get very hot, but there are a lot of cafes. Try to pick a time when the cruise ships are leaving

liked the old town walls walk and the cable car. Disliked Dubrovnik history in 3D show, not enough history and film short.

Sea kayaking was great fun, the city is gorgeous after such devastation. Wonderful shopping in independent shops for clothes, gifts and jewellery, great atmosphere, wonderful and welcoming people. We visited 3 times in a week and still felt there was more to do. Took the cable car too...a must if you're ok with heights...spectacular view!
