we went down to Croatia - for a long weekend and had the best time ever at Carpe Diem in Hvar. Tasty cocktails - nice service and best of all the new beach club at Stipanska island - looking forward to go back soon... more

This place is pretentious unfriendly and totally lacking in the great atmosphere that the rest of Hvar has to offer. Avoid this place at all costs - if you've seen the Youtube films of Carpe Diem they are WAY WAY out of date from about 5 years ago when the DJ knew his music and the owners still believed in... more

Carpe Diem was on the bars list in may guides. We had also heard it was frequented by the likes of Clooney and Depardieu we were a little curious and expecting something special. Not the case.
