We were recommended this remote seaside village by a local agent in Veli Losinj. Absolutely stunning! We reached it by bus from Mali Losinj over spectacular wild and remote countryside. There is a campsite but we stayed above a local restaurant in a smart modern clean apartment with aircon! (£36 per night) So peaceful - no Brits - very quiet... more

A quick review on Cres. We flew into Rijeka airport (actually on the island of Krk) which is a kind-a cool 70's small airport. There is a cash machine there, a couple of car hire offices, a café and an information desk. We managed to share a taxi with 5 others, 4 heading to Krk town, and 1 (Pete) heading... more
