Yes! Park at the edge of the old town, near where the cruise ships dock, and walk all over this little gem of a town. It is so charming and chock-full of hidden treasures! Wear sturdy shoes with good soles and ankle support, though, as the streets are cobbled and not friendly on the feet.

Old town was very good atmosphere and it was nice leisure venue. Landscape was very beautiful and there were a lot of shops and restaurants. Old town was small and it took only one hour to walk around.

I'm sure I can't add much to other reviews - we really liked Rovinj, and the charm of the old town and harbor area played a big part.

A pleasant seaport. There is a huge choice of eating places (possibly too much). The charm is muted by the plethora of satellite dishes, air conditioning units and carelessly slung cables. The Cathedral is worth a visit. The communist era statuery is in evidence and not to my taste.

Enjoy the every day life of a typical mediterranean city and dod not forget to bring with you a non-slippery comfortable shoes! Been 3 times in the city and never been tired of it. Explore all the small adorable and hidden corners, watch the life passing by right at the street, enjoy the weddings gathering all the neighbors, feel the... More

Attractive and friendly with many boat trips from the small harbour. Excellent restaurants and always something going on.

Wonderful old sea city. As most of the cities on the seaside in istria an croatia you can feel and see the influence of Venetian Republic, walking in the small roads, over the white rock from the near Orsera (Vrsar), reacing the cathedral located on the top of the hill, with a beautiful view on the sea.

Rovinj's historic centre dates back to the 3rd century AD when it was actually an island. Later, in the 17th century the channel between the coast and the island was closed and Rovinj became a peninsula. Narrow streets with many small shops, bars and traditional restaurants give it a very romantic feel. You should definitely see the Old town from... More

I fell in love with this old town. We stayed in Pula and took the bus to Rovinj over the day . It wasn't tourist season in may when we were there, but we got lucky because the weather was like in summer. We strolled around on the narrow streets of the old town and walked up to the church... More

After Dubrovnik this is the best old town to see in Croatia. Is is much smaller than Dubrovnik but very interesting, colorful and peaceful. Few narrow alleys through old town will take you to St. Euphemia church on top of hill with nice sunset views.
