Fatnas Island is the perfect place to watch the sunset, which means that it is always packed with tourists.
A few years back the water was drained from the llake surrounding it, and yet nnow I was pleased to see that it had been restored to the way I first remember it being.

Brilliant and peaceful. We rode bikes out to the Fatnis Island. When we arrived we were the only people there and it was very tranquil. We sat in the chairs on the waters edge and enjoyed the peace and quiet and observed our surroundings. Worth the ride as it is very scenic along the way. You are bound to pass...

go there before sunset, enjoy a dip in the warm water well at the entrance of the garden.
then go and enjoy the sunset, it is definitely one of the best sunsets I have ever seen!
Order something to drink and enjoy a nice chat with "Omran" the garden's owner beside the fire he always keeps going.

Supposedly this was one of the places where a brilliant sunset experience could be had - and although Fatna's Pool is also there - this comes second place to the sunset experience. Nobody was in the pool bathing and although I managed a dip in most of the pools - not sure I could be tempted to get in this...
