this pool with crystal blue water in the middle of the desert is sth that you definitelly visit! i loved the place as well as the whole siwa village, it is a savage original place totally different than cairo or alexandria or even the other touristic places of egypt

Great to see this pool but did not go in. Lots of men and boys bathing and jumping in at the time we visited. Tanta Waa cafe next to it serves amazing Lassi's. Date and banana - yum! Preferred to sit upstairs at this cafe and just watch the shananigans than to go in the algae covered pool!

A large circular pool, which apparently people swim in despite the algae. There are places to eat and drink there, and a pool table. It was extremely relaxing to lay back on low divans sipping tea made over a fire, and watching people play billiards.

This is a lovely natural spring in the middle of the roadway, surrounded by 3 local cafes / juice bars. It is a nice place to sit and paddle your feet or take a swim if you desire. They make great fresh squeezed mango juice. :)

Nlothing but an algae infested round cistern. Some places have nothing so they invent an "attraction." Skip it.

It was great to swim here. The pool is round and small- about 15 feet in diameter, but after bicycling there, we were thrilled to jump in. I would not recommend changing there- the shed was unlit and filthy.

This was a truly fantastic experience! To swim in this spring pool you really do need to be a strong and confident swimmer, the steps leading into the pool can be a bit slippy so care does need to be taken. The pool itself is very deep, have no idea how deep it really was - but looking down through... More
