I would have loved to visit this palace before the damage wreaked by the 2001 earthquake but it was still possible to see its former glory. The interior is intriguing for its European influences.

The mirror palace was nice, but not nearly as nice as the quiet streets laden with wonderful shops on the way there. All kinds of local shops as well as a few places selling textiles, antiques, food, etc in very clean, friendly, quiet street. Quite unusual!! A very nice place to walk.
Not a place to visit very badly maintained . Its a waste of time .
Prag Mehal and Aina Mehal are adjacent. When you enter the compound, first is Prag mehal and after crossing the building and another big gate you enter the Aina mehal compound.

It must have been wonderful once, but the upkeep is not good enough. Still it must be visited when you visit Bhuj. The bazaar around the palace is great. One must try to shop around for Bandhani (Bandhej) cloth material. Also, one must try to sample the local delicacies at the Khavda shop.
We have visit this Mahal in the current month (Nov-11), with all my family members. The entrance is a bit narrow but widens up as we first visit PragMahal Palace. Entry Fee Rs 20/- and there are five floor inside it. Top floor is currently closed for visitors after Earthquake.
But the first two floor is very dirty and filthy...
