The site is lovely, and it's made more interesting by having signs around the place in English explaining the significance of different parts. We ate langar, the free meal provided at all gurudwaras (Sikh temples). The food was great and the experience was even better. On a business trip in the are I was fortunate to make a quick trip to the temple. It wAs liberating to be walking around bare foot and the temple is spectacular. We arrived just before sunset. The place was packed but the setting sun ignited the atmosphere further. I wish I had more time, and had taken my tripod...... More

Harmandir Saheb OR d Golden Temple,,,,, I would be speaking the obvious about this holy place. Whatever can be said or expressed in words is less for a place as divine as this... U simply need to be here to experience d calmness, spirituality n purity this temple engulfs in itself. The whole premises is maintained superbly by the committee.... More
