The crowd management is excellent and the selfless devotion of the volunteers- superb! liked the peace and tranquility of the place, the water bodies are very soothing, the fishes there are so happy nobody disturbs them due to the discipline.

Went there at night around 8. The moment you enter, the temple looks breathtaking. So clean and peaceful even among so many people. Our taxi driver took us around and made the experience even better. Learned that one must take an entire round. That you can get prasad halwa from one of the paid counters which you should offer inside... More

This place lives up to all the hype - you walk through the arched door way and this stunning golden temple just takes your breath away. Easy to spend a couple of hours just wandering around the walkway and taking it all in.

The organised way in which the people in big no. visit the place .One should have ample time because even standing inthe queue requires patience to wait for their turn to go inside the temple.

The mere complex of the Golden Temple is an absolute treat to one's eyes. The place is immensely beautiful and peaceful. Visiting this place in the early mornings (3am to 4am) or late at night (11:30pm to 12 am) would help one to explore the complex more freely as these are the timings when the complex is comparatively less crowded... Visited at 4am to see the Golden Temple at sunrise. It is breathtaking but had to wait in a huge queue for ages then only got 2-3 minutes inside temple before the next crowd poured in. Be prepared for the crush and a long stand.
