I thought I was on the set of Lord of the Rings, amazing dilapidated Palace below the fort. Wonderful architecture and great to explore.... but watch out for the monkeys!

This could be a great place if they would only do a few things, like chase out the bats, not allow people to urinate in the palace and have better signage. I realize that everything cannot be saved in India, however, it would not take much to make this place suitable for the public.

We loved exploring the different levels and rooms. We didn't see any monkeys when we went at mid-day but sticks are available for rent at the entrance.

Slightly different from the others but has some very nice painted walls (indian minature style). Look out the side palace with the garden in front.

The palace is a decent place to pass the time, but there isn't really anything great about it when compared to the ones that you'll see when visiting the Golden Triangle

This place is a quiet gem. It was so atmospheric and wonderful I couldn't believe there weren't more crowds here. Well worth the trip. The views of the city are fantastic from up here.

During my stay the doors to the rooms where the paintings are were closed. They told me that the man who holds the key "is on holiday". So I paid entrance fees for almost nothing to see. I came to Bundi to see the beautiful paintings in the palace and was very disappointed. They should have told you before. But they even... More

Well worth the stop-over. The painting are amazing. Although the palace is smaller than others, it was more impressive to us than the big ones in Udaipur and Jaipur. We had an amazing guide that we just "picke-up" at the entrance gate.
