Take a long walk through the wonderful scenic view of hill valleys and breath in the delectable smell of eucalyptus and wild flowers. Do take a look through the binoculars in the high tower to have a view of three villages at the hill foot.

The walk is hardly of about half a Kilometer, but it offers beautiful and scenic views of the Velly beyond. There are a few stalls offering different wares and some stalls where you can consider yourself a shooting champion by targetting baloons with Air Guns

we were greeted by carrot vendors at the entrance.believe me the carrots were as fresh as the walk itself and we had a great time just gazing at the surroundings.very good regular walk for localites.the shops around coakers walk are good and their owners are very friendly.

There is not a better place to visit in Kodaikanal. I have been to Coakers walk everytime I go to Kodai. The best part about this place is that it is not crowded. You can stroll across the lane at your pace while picking up eateries like corn, pineapple, ice cream, tea, etc. The view is amazing. I would say... More

The walk is hardly 0.5 km long, but gives you some amazing views of the valley. We first visited this place in the evening.. was pretty much crowded, It had just rained and and the valley was covered with mist.. and then you could see the mist move by slowly revealing the beautiful valley. perfect place to click a few... we had to pay the entrance fees which is not required. Even after charging fee, its not clean. If there is no mist, you will get a great view. Good to know that it was opened in 1872! thats great. there is an observatory. Not useful if weather is misty.
