Worth a visit to tick off the 'must see' list. Sunset is a good time to go & the tuk tuk tour we did was great - our driver was very good.

We were pleased with all of the temples we toured in the area. In most cases we felt like we had them entirely to ourselves.

Wat Ratchaburana was ordered to be built by King Boromarachatirat II ( Chao Sam Phraya ) in 1424 at the cremation site of his two Brother ( prince ) who fought each another for the king's Trone, unfortunately they both died in the scene .The important building here is the khmer Prang ( the Typical Phrang's Style of early Ayutthya...

Wat Ratchburan is one of two wats located on the eastern edge of the Phra Ram Park situated in the center of Ayutthaya. Its convenient location and its detailed prang make it a must see.
