Extremely friendly people who taught us everything about how sugar is harvested from coconut trees and what they do with it and all the coconuts. We also had a look through a traditional Thai farm house which was just beautiful.

When we arrived, no one was around. No explanation on how the sugar is made, no written explanation on the banners as well. Basically the place was dead.

We visited the coconut sugar farm as part of our tour to Damnoen Saduak floating markets. We didn't know about it before visiting the area, and didn't even realise that it would be part of the tour we had taken. It's really cool to see. It is very touristy and candies here are overpriced compared to the other places, but it is worth to see and also to buy some candies ready made in front of you
