Kantiang at the south of Lanta is no doubtedly the best beach in Lanta, the sunset view is so tremendous that can make you forget everything.

Has the essentials, some great bars, a 7-11, supermarket and some great resorts. A very friendly spot where you won't get hasstled to buy things. Great beachfront dining and bars!

Kantiang is not commercialised in a big way so still has the feel of a quiet peaceful beach with clean sand. A couple of little restaurant bars and some local shops at the end of the beach give a sense of the local life.

Kantiang bay is the best beach on the Island. Clean, nice sand (also on low tide) and very private. Nice sunsets as well.

went here hoping it would be a less touristy place than the beaches further north. has turned into a smaller version of the resort areas with kids families.. To calm for young people, and not a place for singles!

I stayed at Kantiang twice whilst I was on Koh Lanta. Loved the Why Not bar and the Why Not band played every night. Brill.

Food pretty good, prices reasonable, chilled though service was sometime slow, though who cares when you are on a beach in thailand

The setting is beautiful, with a view of Koh Haa at a distance, and jungle all around. All the hotels in the bay look well kept and tidy and at the southern most end of the beach there is a really nice little restaurant. The sand is fine and the beach is wide.
