Found out about scubafish through my hotel and I've always wanted to learn to scuba dive so this was the perfect opportunity.
We booked on to complete the open water course. Our course instructor was Claus. He was extremely knowledgeable, a great teacher and most of all, super fun!! So happy I got to learn with him :)
Our first day we spent completing our confined water dives on site and days 2-3 were spent at Ko Haa. The scubafish team were really nice and helpful. The food was yummy too! They recycle and compost which is awesome.
Before my final dive with scubafish, I was telling Claus how its my dream to be able to see a turtle but also being aware that its completely down to chance. Anyways, in we go for the final dive and maybe 3 minutes in, THERE WAS A TURTLE. It was just chilling out, eating and stuff. Claus let us just hang about (good chance to practice that neutral bouyancy:p) for a good 5-10 minutes just observing it (giving it space obviously) but wow, literally BEST DAY EVER. Claus is a brilliant instructor, very patient and I'm happy to say I completed the OW course :)
Also while on the dives, we had photographers, Magnus and Roman from liquidlense. They both took some amazing underwater photos! I ended up buying a lot because I just couldnt decide on my favourites, they were all so awesome. So thanks guys, I can show everyone back home :)
Anyways, thanks Claus and the scubafish/liquid lense team!!
