This is where The Beach was filmed. It must have been cleaned before filming. It was extremely dirty both on land and in the water. Let the photos speak for themselves. Proof we should not use styrofoam.

The reef, beaches, and landscape is beautiful. The boat traffic is not, and a bit dangerous.

We had a horrible experience out on a day long snorkeling trip with the Chukit boat company. They promised to take us to 12-14 places and we went to 4 when the engine broke down for 2 hours. It is worth spending the money to go out to this place. Like many others, you will be thinking....geee this place is busy. Way too busy to relax and enjoy. Thats not to say you won't have a good time though. Just that, everyone wants to go there now as its had such great rev iews for so long.

Just another island of Phi Phi gathers. But you might don't want to miss this Island. Its like you're not visiting Phuket (IMHO)

The best way to see Koh Phi Phi Leh was to rent your own speed boat (it's like an 18ft open bow ski boat) for 4 hours, and have them take you (5,000 baht for 4 hrs). NICE VIEW, NICE SNORKELING, NICE WATER. GO.ENJOY THE TIME, TRY GO WITHOUT MANY PEOPLE, BECAUSE REALLY IS A GOOD MOMENT. Remember check the qty at each boat before contract the tour, and try not use the cheapest taxi boat. are TERRIBLE: noisy, many people and to slow.
