Seach your soul .. Quiet n peaceful place (but before 5pm) ... Great pictures ... Lastly, watch the Kecak dance. It's a little pricy at Rp70,000 but I guess it's just a small toucan to pay to upkeep this place ... Beware of monkeys coz they will grab just about anything ... I managed to capture one sitting on a... More

There is memorable view and nice location but there are full of aggressive monkeys. many trees and crowded. If you have a chance visiting here, you will love it.

Being one of the most important temples in Bali.. this place is truly an amazing site to visit. the Temples, the ocean view from the cliff side, and the best part, watching Fire Kecak Performance while viewing the sunset. Be careful with the monkeys, they will easily snatch your things, hats, sunglasses, cameras etc. hopefully they wont throw them off... More

Although the sign and our driver warned us about the monkeys, we were not bothered by any though I did witness a tourist’s hat being snatched off while walking along the pathway. At the end of the pathway surrounded by trees, we were rewarded with the amazing magical view of the ocean waves that break on the rocks and the... More

Overall a very nice view. But becareful of the monkey when you walk near the wall, especially your glasses/ sunglasses(easy for them to take), handbag, camera. You will need to pay for the people who help you to get back your item from the monkey. You can give them food so they will go away.

lovely place to take in the views, the surf and the Kecak dance which is fantastic. Monkeys were aplenty but no problems at all and a good addition to this wonderful place. Must see when in Bali..

First and foremost, it's very important for other travellers to know that the monkeys here at Uluwatu Temple ARE very definitely now being fed by the local community and they are – to the best of my knowledge and personal experience – very unlikely now to attack visitors. I just read a review on here dated May 11 saying the... More

Prettiest temple and sight in Bali I've seen so far; Got a cultural dance presentation at night around 6pm; on the way up to Uluwatu on the left side of the road watch out the high end resort of BVLGARI; while on the way down would suggest to drop by a Beach shore easyl seen from a Bridge - this... Come here in evening to have a walk around the temple and do not miss the Kecak Dance around sunset time. The view to the bright green cliffs and an open ocean is just breathtaking! Be aware of agressive and fast monkeys, they try to still everything - cameras, glasses, water. In the temple area they do not get any... More
