this fire was not calmed for 1500 years !! the building is beautiful but not too old. it's from Pahlavi race. the fire burning in it, moved here. The one who keep fire alight, called: Hirbod, and the name of the fire is Varharam.

We were the only visitors at the Fire Temple - it was an intersting place to visit - quite different from the mosques.

Well, at the first look it may seem not very special. Nice to see for the concept of an eternal flame. Not much info inside in English. Might be too far to walk from the hotels (a local took me on his motorbike).
