Exactly in the border with Lebanon it is possible to visit the grottoes in Rosh Haniqra. Even when there was a war in 2008, it is right now a safe place to visit (currently, there is a security zone in the border, controlled by the UN).

The border is just a gate. nothing to see. period. but the grottoes are simply astounding- down the road from the border.
