I dont know what actually happened regarding the comment below (Disappointing - Jan 2, 2012), but his / her experience was definitely not the case when I'm there. As a matter of fact, my friends and I had one of the most memorable time being at the camp. Zedane certainly was a great host. He was waiting at the visitors... More

People can have different feelings at the bedouin meditation camp. Some of them can complain about the blanckets or toilets, but the most of them would come back to the camp many times. Zedane and his tent in the Wadi Rum desert is a great experience. It depends on what you are looking for: there, you can look at the... More

We planned in staying one day and night in this camp but due to the friendly people, the interesting and funny host, we stayed another day. They helped us with our hiking route and provided water and bread. Amazing views

From the website, emails and some reviews I got the impression that a warm welcome and Bedouin experience were waiting for us. Once there, I realized that an English volunteer was indeed the person behind the emails and Zedane was quite an impolite person. There was a large group of Italians for dinner and all the attention turned to them,... More

Zedan is a nice host. I stayed outside of the tent and was a great experience sleeping under the stars. (highly recommend. I went in April, so it was fairly warm) His guides have a good sense of humor and all four of my friends from very different backgrouds enjoy our stay :)

My wife wanted to visit Wadi Rum but I was less convinced of the need to sleep in a tent, especially since we travelled with our 19 month old toddler daughter. Anyway, we were in Aqaba so it made sense to spend the night there. We were trying to find a bus to go when a taxi driver persuaded us... More

With personal service by zedan. We enjoyed silence, good food and camel trip. Blankets are extremely heavy. Personal sleeping bag would be better. Second dinner in cave was well organized and romantic atmosphere. Thank you. 300 characters are too much! With personal service by zedan. We enjoyed silence, good food and camel trip. Bedouin Meditation Camp is located on protected area of Wadi Rum, 10km south from the village. You can find it on Google Earth to coordinates: 29*29’00.70’’N 35*23’35.10’’E . I got there by mistake but finally it was a pleasure. Zedane al Zalabieh - the owner - is an experienced man and this matters a lot ! Helpful and clever. And... More
