Paked with what appeared to be a school group, this place was nevertheless a joy to visit. The church is exceptionally beautiful, and the areas open to visitors are worth seeing, and a respite for weary legs after the walk from Deir Mar Elisha [though transport is available to ply the main distance, travelling back and forth].
