Bought a carpet here and after very hard bargaining settled on a price. Returned to Marrakech and found that the prices there were much lower for the same or better quality.
So if you go there make sure you only pay a fraction of the price that they will ask on carpets. Roughly no more than one third.

a typical berber desert village not many tourists . it was very relaxing . and interesting to see .

Loved the ability to sit on the front terrace of my riad and watch the local children go to school in the morning and home after lunchtime. a big village by the dunes, not as big as merzouga,a water tower is the indicator of the village, you can rent in cafe fatima snow boards, and skis. loved by my group.
