“walk on water!”

Waves from both directions meet, making it appear that you are walking on water. Just sat, having a beer and looking at the peaceful vista. Unfortunately, I hear that the property had been sold and will be developed for rich people. Hope it isn't true. This should be preserved for all.

“Fantastic sunset - lots of bugs”

Punta Jesus Maria is THE place to be during sunset. The scenery is just incredible - and you can swim in the lake too. There are lots of bugs around at dusk though, so bring repellent.

nice beach to chill out and decide you next move. no sandy outcrop in rainy season however. but still nice.

Punta Jesus Maria is about 3km away from Moyogalpa. Head down south on the main road leaving the village until you see the sign on the right hand side and follow the dirt road all the way to the beach.
