Anyone that comes to Ometepe must do this long but very worthwhile and very beautiful hike. It has to be done with a guide and we recently had a wonderful experience with one local guide that we contacted through [--]. I highly suggest spending as much time as possible in Ometepe, to truly enjoy the lakes and volcanos. more
