“Lazy afternoon”

I spent a whole afternoon there, a large and nice plaza in the center of Huaraz, quiet but still lots of things going on ... worth trying an icecream there and just watch the people pass by.

“Sit and watch the world go by”

A large plaza with lots of seating, so you can sit and watch people pass in their colourful clothes. If you are lucky you are likely to see a parade of some sort, particularly at weekends, as the locals enjoy these. The plaza is a central place in Huaraz. It is located near Churches, art market, restaurants, and shops.
