But don`t miss it, because this year (hopefully !) it will be again "in business"; the reconstruction process is caused by the biggest urbanistic project, build around this castle. Inside there is a lot of History (paintings - most important painters from Romania, cult objects and so on);

This is a very interesting example of neo-gothic architecture from the beginning of the 20th century. The palace is very impressive and monumental from outside. Inside there are also some interesting architectural elements and halls, like Sala Voievozilor. The Palace of Culture is a beautiful building to watch... from outside. It`s completely closed and will remain like that until a couple of years more. It might be open in 2013 but you`ll better check in advance. The same thing happened with most of the churches and palaces of the city. It`s like the whole Iasi is going through... More

This is the main symbol of the city of Iasi. It houses many permanent or temporary exhibitions, but the building itself is a work of art.

Exquisite piece of architecture, in neogotic flaboyant style. The surroundings are also superb. Some tourist objectives are obvious, but many others need to be discovered after the next corner.
