The guides tend to be in a hurry - more people, more money (remember they only get paid if they have punters, so don't be mean). But the site is awesome.

This really is one of the wonderful things to see in the world. Minor quibbles about pushy "guides" and initial entry cost aside, the view from the top is outstanding, and the history of the "fortress" is very evocative.

The entry ticket for foreign tourists seems to be daylight robbery -- but c'est la vie. And as with any government org, morose employees. Keep in mind that there are unlicensed, uninvited "helpers" lurking around who will "help" you for some monetary considerations, be your guide etc -- 100% fraud. They may be very aggressive.
