My husband 1 year old son and I were in a cycle rickshaw which was brill. My son loved it. It was a sunday so most places were closed but you still got a very good insight into the place probably with a little less hussle and bustle.

this market is particularly special. realy beutifull in this city of Delhi. many people to visit and buy this temple every day.

Get lost in the vibrant colours, soak up the smells, the tastes and follow the locals deep into this maze of lane ways and street. worth a wander, leave sufficient time (1-2 hours) in case of getting lost! take a guide if you can!
If you want to see the real India, this is it. A bit daunting but quite an experience. Some really nice authentic food there too if you dare to try.
We spent a couple of hours just wandering round here, felt completely safe although we were the only tourists walking. All the other tourists were on bike rickshaws. Well worth a wander for a glimpse into indian life, but expect to get a lot of stares.
