I used the metro during one of the quieter times and whilst clean, I was packed in, pushed, shoved about as was everryone. There is no such thing as 'personal space'. The metro is punctual though ovecrowded during peak hours...standing room only. It has helped avoid the need to use public transport to visit downtown and major transit stations. more

According to me Delhi Metro is proving to be the fresh face of cosmopolitian & liberation. It a excellent service. It's always on time . As far as attractions go, this is not noteworthy in any way. In is merely a public transportation system that could be in any city. Further, the system is incomplete and under construction. If you are near a station, it can be a good way to get around, but there are large parts of the city not covered. more

This is an extremely nice initiative in India. One of the very few air conditioned public transport services available at dirt cheap fares. Trying to copy London Tube model. Its not as good as that but still a nice ride. more
