Seems like a massive family picnic area, there a pedal boats on the lake which were great with a young toddler (2yr). Leave this one until the kids are awake if travelling with them. Really enjoyed it.

Constructed in Lutyens Delhi at the Prime location of Rajpath that leads to the president's palace, the structure resembles Arc de triumph of Paris. The roads are well kept and a lot of greenery around. We Delhites go frequently for a day out especially during winter. The Boating in the small canals around the monument is also fun especially if... More

The many wars India fought and is fighting to save and preserve its integrity and independence. Its proof as it depicts the names of all those soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country. But the place is too crowded and is being vandilised by commercial interests

India Gate has a nice feel to it with the locals playing cricket in the surrounding park and families taking time to meet up, walk around and chill out. Although crowded, we didn't get hassled much here and as the sun sets the light makes a beautiful sight through the gate.

Crowded and dirty, peddlers selling stuff. Didn't enjoy it at all. But it was nice they remembered the dead, even the horses.
