This is a lovely green oasis in the middle of the city...rolling greens, blooming flowers in season and a favourite picnic spot for families. So many lovely memories, soaking in the sun in winter and soaking in sweat in summer evenings as we walk around the circuit.....one large round takes about 15 minutes or so...the park is lovely, light and... The sweetness, the freshness of the shade trees of this garden invites us to a romantic pose. Even if you are single, single, walk in this beautiful park.you can see many boys and girls under the tree romancing :) i like that, even for a instance i was also thinking of my younger ages

We asked our driver to take us on a half day tour. This was one of the places we stopped at. It is free to enter, lots of couples having their date there. It was nice and well kept, unlike most places in India.

We LOVED Lodi Gardens. The various tombs and other buildings are gorgeously photogenic and the grass is lush and it's so peaceful and mmmmmmm. And it's free! And people don't ask to have photographs with you! Wonderful place. Must-visit even on a short stop in Delhi.

Lodi Gardens, The Prince of Gardens! As the name suggests, the Lodi Garden was established by erstwhile Lodi dynasty. Evidently so as the lush rich garden houses protected heritage sites like tombs, domes and mosque in its sprawling invigorating green surroundings. These protected sites are known as tomb of Muhammad Shad, Sheesh Gumbad, Bada Gumbad and Tomb of Sikandar Lodi.... More

The best time to visit is around dusk - watch the thousands of birds coming home to roost and the bats coming out for the night!
