Truly a place worth a visit. Especially it highlights the ancient history of India- through a boat ride along a guided path. Has a wonderful canteen which offers food from almost every corner of India- but one caution- only vegetarian food. But i felt the extravaganza is a bit too much. At times also feel rather than making it to... More

Its an awesome place. Unlike other temples its unique and worth a couple of visits. Kids and adults everyone will enjoy. The queues can be cumbersome as tight security is observed. There is a dress code which needs to be followed at the temple. Do read the info about the temple online before visiting.

If you visit Delhi, it is a must to visit Akshardham. Must see: Fountain Show Main temple Canteen is really good as well containing various kinds of cuisines. If you have full day to visit then fine, else visit it during evening. Its worth it to see the Akshardham in night glittering with lights and the fountain show as well.

throughout the temple and all the attractions showcased the modern craftsman work. Of traveling through temple I feel it is very family friendly, especially with the boat rides and the walkthrough history of the swaminarayan's life. I wished I can take pictures. It is great for few hours of your time in Delhi. Definitely worth to go. The temple itself... More

Amazing mandir and worth having an English speaking tour guide explaining the different elements in the design. Stay for the fountain display in the evening.

We went early (recommended) to beat the crowds and it was a fantastic experience. Even though it's new, it's such a showcase of workmanship and dedication that it rightly deserves to be seen and appreciated. The only thing that was disappointing was not being allowed to take in my camera, however I understand that for security reasons it's important, and... More

An awesome architectural wonder in the outskirts of Delhi. Truly inspiring and made proud of every Indian to be an Indian. No one can really explain how wonderfully it is built. All you have to be there to believe it. Amazing carvings, rocking stone sculptures wonderful design, innovative concept. Awesome. Cheers and thanks to the makers. No entry fees, no... More

Great example of architecture, mythology & history clubbed with peaceful surroundings not to forget the musical fountains, Though time to enter the vicinity is high but the wait pays itself. Good metro connectivity is another plus point.

Dont miss this temple although entrance is a project but plan to enter afternoon and enjoy of its colorful and peaceful night. This sight shows Indian people can be clean and high class if they want.
