it is a average place to visit. the road to the temple has a scenic view of the mysore city. it was the best thing that i liked about the trip to the temple. temple is of chamundeshwari devi. dont eat there any snacks as that are not good

It is on the Chamundi hills, 30 mins drive up the hill from Mysore. The temple is also nice. Recently there is a KSRTC volvo service from Mysore. The view of Mysore from the top is very good.

got there by bus on a sunday. it was really crowded and there are a lot of tourist-shops full of crap (teddybears etc.) the temples are kitchy without a long tradition and the walk down was nothing special either. although the hill is very high, you dont have a great view of the city.
