We booked our 1 day tour of Mumbai a few weeks in advance. Amish, the owner was really friendly even through e-mails, and even friendlier in person. Seen all the major attractions, had a great lunch, spent some time shopping. And it is worth contacting them even if you only want a car and a driver for a day.
