Konkan cafe looks a little strange in the Vivanti former Taj President. It looks like it was designed for a Swiss ski lodge but the food, well spiced and balance, is from Goa. Ignore the decor go for the food

The cuisine, dominated by fish, is intricate and delicious. Those interested... More

Very good food and it's worth your money. Seafood preparation is very authentic and tastes like home food.

Hectic Life? Then relax in the Western Belt of Konkan - the green heaven. Wonderful beaches, Tasty seafood cuisine and loads of Mango and Cashewnut Plantations are the plus points of Konkan. The only issue that you may face is the language. The most beacutiful villages in Kokan is Ganpatipule.

Yess...the perfect combination of colourful atmosphere with hues of evergreen trees and crops; blue serene beaches and vibrant red soil is enough to get attracted to the beautiful land of konkan. Basically Konkan is a big area comprising 4 coastal districts of Maharashtra which start from north after Mumbai and end at south with Goa. If you are in search... More

Konkan has natural beauty in abundance but poor public transport makes it difficult for common man to cover many places at one go. The sea shore, beaches are very clean, not yet exposed to outside world. Some parts of Konkan like Ganpatipule, Tarkarli are now known to all due to MTDC resorts but there are much more to Konkan. Food... More

The beauty of Konkan region is to be experience...best time is just after rains when winter begins....beautiful greenery and beaches... A lot of good lodge options normally owned by family which stays in the same place...its more like a homestay experience...basics are taken care off...its the rustic beauty, nature that may interest you more
