Peace of mind in the middle of city. this temple situated at JDA circle is a nice place to take a break & relax yourself. Visit in evening & catch the Aarti. Sit on the outside marble stairs & just take a look on JDA office & nehru marg. Also enjoy the local weekly market on wednesday.
Dont think that man can comment about the Deities but our darshan was very good. Totally different experience from the south indian temples that i am accustomed to. Marbles on the floor and the glass paintings on the walls were all much appreciated by us.
this temple is very important for hindu, extra shape , also beatyfull inside, but no camera inside, also no posibility to buy postcard ar book,
A new Temple with exquisite carvings and very close to the old Ganesh Temple which allows you to make a good comparison between the lavish and the more mundane. Both are worth being in whenever puja is being offered.
Mr Birla endowed two temples (maybe more) and the while marble edifice in Jaipur is impressive, but somewhat austere with its single large space inside and images of only two gods. We much preferred his temple in Delhi which is more intimate and has more statues of different gods and architecturally is more varied and warmer in feeling.
