Has the world's biggest tree! And a neat atmosphere too. I only spent about a half hour, but it's probably worth spending more time here. It's rather jungley.

Best thing in Kolkata really. The Kali temple was ruined by the aggressive hustlers. The Victoria Memorial was good but tatty. The gardens were peaceful, interesting, and very well looked after. The banyan tree is obviously the most famous thing, but there were some amazing trees, flowers and wildlife too.

Yes, may be in India, you will find more place neat and tider than Kolkata. But here is a place of peace, heritage, and rich culture that India is famous of.
