We hike quite a bit in this area. We love it. Trails are great!

Great trees, rivers, and general plant and animal life. Great for hiking.

There are so many good places to hike and also a place to ride horses and atvs.

The Bankhead is a great place for biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, and camping. There's also a shooting range, picnic areas, trail-heads, historical sites, and a fishing pier on Brushy Lake which are all easily accessible from paved roads.
