The Fort & museum was a great site to visit. It is wonderful to see all the history at this site. Smaller fort than I thought it would be & the buildings & structures were so weird how they looked & were built...it was so interesting. Great view from the top...can see the ocean & there were several oil rigs... more

This place was fantastic! I am not a history buff at all and this was the highlight of my trip. So many hidden rooms, nooks and crannys, stairs, etc. The whole place had a creepy "Saw" movie feel to it. It was great. My 3 boys loved it. It is only $5 to get in and you can stay as... more

Speaking of its boredome and lack... more

Much of the original, Civil War era fort remains, with some modifications having been made for WWI and WWII. A small donation is requested to enter the complex, but it is easily worth it as you walk through. Lots... more

Sadly, the beach club does not deliver. Our unit was in very poor condition -shower door dangerously falling off hinges, broken washing machine that maintenance was unable to fix during our 4-night stay, and another closet door falling off the hinges. Our spa-trip was also diappointing: un-clean environment in the nail salon area and sub-par service. There are many other... more

On a recommendation from a client, we planned a family vacation to the Alabama Gulf Coast. Although Orange Beach or West Beach were recommended over Fort Morgan, we chose a duplex in Fort Morgan to accomodate all family members. We were thrilled with the accomodations, the beach, and all other amenities. Fort Morgan is much quieter than Gulf Shores; with... more
