We took a group of second graders on a field trip and we had a wonderful time. The only thing that the students did not like was that we did not get to do and see everything! The staff were excellent in their costumes. They kept the students active and engaged in every activity. This is going to be an... More

On admission, you are offered a choice of self-guided or group guided tour. I'm not from Alabama, but I enjoyed the tour and learned more about life in 1819. I was disappointed that there were not demonstrations (no blacksmith, carpentery, cooking, crafts, etc) that I expected with a "living history" museum. The guide did a good job explaining the different... More

Being from St. Paul, MN, I really didn't have much background in Alabama history. This was a great lesson in how the state got its start and what it was like to live back then. I was there in March and the weather was great. From what I understand, it gets pretty hot / humid on the tour in mid-summer.... More

It is a re-creation, but authentic. Probably not interesting to those out of Alabama.

The reindeer were awesome and so was the church choir that sang. Santa is oh so jolly and the real deal. I must visit during a different time of year to try it out.

I had been really looking forward to our visit but ended up being very dissaponted. We had a guide who showed us around the village. Although she seemed a very nice person she wasn't up to much as a guide, her dialogue was poor. It sounded at times as if she was talking in the first person, as a person... More

We recently visited Constitution Village on a field trip with my son's 5th grade class. I was impressed with the educational content but was disappointed with the accessibility for the mobility impaired. My son has muscular dystrophy and uses a mobility scooter at times. We chose not to bring it because I thought by looking at the online pictures it... More
