The Market is actually NOT on the beach. It's about 5 minutes away. And they have alot of stuff there. The Entreprenaur's are very persistent, but that comes along with enjoying the experience. They need your sale, so there's no need to become frustrated. Stick to your price. I did. Although I needed a nap after, LOL. Photos to follow.
Having looked at the reviews on here we decided to give the market a go. We got a taxi down to the market and payed for him to stay for two hours and take us back to baga.
When we got to the market it seemed very colourful and fun like the Indians themselves and we're getting into the spirit....

General market stalls with pushy sellers, bright, colourful, local wares and crafts, search well for the bargains. Combine with boat travel and enjoy the beach, a good day out.
There're a lot of things U can buy cheaper but some are too expensive even if U bargain. They wanted 1500 Rs for 1 doll and in store with fixed prices we bought 2 for Rs 200. The same story with articles of bronze. Reasonable prices are on carpets and hammocks. And if U want 2 buy something cheaper go...

A visit to anjuna is always fun, a colouful place where you can buy lots of gifts for family and friends.
Sometimes better to go later in the day as you will get better deals BUT IT DOES GET VERY BUSY,DONT FORGET TO BARTER HARD.
Which ever beach you are on in Goa, you will have beach sellers selling jewellery, pasmina's,beachwear, cd's,whilst your soaking up the sun, but with minimum choice.At Anjuna they have more of everything, plus tibetan items, kashmir rugs and bespoke genuine items hand made by goan travellers/settelers
I visited this place recently. This is the best place fro shopping. there are very sweet people. lots of bargaining, variety with good budget available there.. There are lots of interesting things to purchase as like small and big Hukkas .. Dresses, T Shirts, Neck-less etc.. Nice experience..
