The Market is actually NOT on the beach. It's about 5 minutes away. And they have alot of stuff there. The Entreprenaur's are very persistent, but that comes along with enjoying the experience. They need your sale, so there's no need to become frustrated. Stick to your price. I did. Although I needed a nap after, LOL. Photos to follow.

When we got to the market it seemed very colourful and fun like the Indians themselves and we're getting into the spirit.... More

General market stalls with pushy sellers, bright, colourful, local wares and crafts, search well for the bargains. Combine with boat travel and enjoy the beach, a good day out.

The same story with articles of bronze. Reasonable prices are on carpets and hammocks. And if U want 2 buy something cheaper go... More

Which ever beach you are on in Goa, you will have beach sellers selling jewellery, pasmina's,beachwear, cd's,whilst your soaking up the sun, but with minimum choice. At Anjuna they have more of everything, plus tibetan items, kashmir rugs and bespoke genuine items hand made by goan travellers/settelers

If you are in the area, Anjuna market is a fun day out - especially if you are here for a week and want to see something besides the beach. It is very hot, but the market is shaded in some areas. They are very tough negotiatiors, so watch out. I wanted to buy a small kids t-shirt and the... More
