This was the worst trip I have ever taken when travelling! Was based in Palolem (absolutely beautiful - go there!) and took a 2 hour taxi ride to the market. We were told it was an absolute must and couldn't be missed - wrong! It has all the same stuff as every other stall around Goa, but with less charm!... more
Anjuna fleamarket is only business nothing else.The charm is gone. All the traders come mostly from other states like Kashmir,Rajasthan and Ladahk,they work in Goa only in tourist season, and with the money they earned they can live more than six months in their state.
