I liked going to the beach here. It was quiet and not a lot of people. I was not impressed by the waters though. I'm used to clearer waters and this wasn't it. I put my feet in it, but that's all I could tolerate. But the vibe on the beach, especially during sunset is lovely. There are restaurants and...

We appreciated the strange anjuna's beach (sand and rocks and flea market) and the people we met were fantastic!!!And don't miss the bar restaurant " O Manuel"...they were a second family for us!
The beach itself is nothing special. Parts are rocky and parts are sandy, and it's not a patch on most of the beaches in Goa.
The attraction is what surrounds the beach. There are some reasonable bars, which again are not as good as elsewhere in Goa, and there are a lot of stalls, whose owners will predicatably try and...

Feb 2012: this beach is all rocks. So no swimming , no relaxing. you can try taking a few snaps and get some souvenir from the shops at the top of the cliff. Less number of bugging hawkers as tourists are less. if possible skip this beach and go somewhere else .
a late review for our 2010 trip...its a joke..the beach was not swimable..full of rock... the sand was all muddy and black.......the cliff where people normally sit and watch the sun set was full of indian tourists chewing their red tobacco.....watch out where u sit!! the spat tobacco was everywhere... totally 3rd class!! the only good thing about the trip...

Highlights - Awesome Shacks, interesting Wednesday Flee Market
Opinions on Beaches are rather subjective - during the day, I like to hang out at quite beaches where I can relax without too many people blocking my view... So in that respect Anjuna is way too crowded - both by people and shacks... but at sun set! boy does it come...

They are, however, deterred by a bit of nudity, as we found when I did a bit of topless sunbathing for half an hour- useful tip if you want to be left alone...you just...

This is something like a rock beach. A couple of shopping areas and that's it. Nothing much.
I was been through the Rahi Hotel in Mahabaleshwar. It is the most 3rd Class Hotel. The Food quality is pathetic & worst. I suffered from the Food Positioning. Not only me but I found the couple who had food from the same hotel next to our table was also came to the dispensary for the medicine.
