While walking around this hill you start to get some impression of wehat life must have been like for the early European merchants and public officials that came to Melaka to seek their furtune. When you visit Melaka this is one of the things you have to see. Especially when you are from the Netherlands this is a must see.

Good views of the area and some interesting history. Fewer hawkers than down below.

You can almost see the whole of malacca town from this hilltop. Once u r on top, u will understand why the Portuguese build a fort here. The A farmosa is just at the foot hill.

Stand at the church and fort walls, you will imagines Portugese glories in1511-1641. worth a walk up, but a shame about the tourist shops, music and photos with animals which did not go with what should have been a peaceful and holy place.
