The people here are so helpful! They helped us pick out a place for lunch and then sent us on to the Fort. The fort is a great place to take the kids. It has some displays, but the fun part is letting the kids roam around. more
Great place to start a tour of Mobile. Gives a good introduction to the history of the Mobile area and a central location to map out your tour. Parking across the street is free and so is the fort. Free shuttle leaves from here to most of the downtown attractions and restaurants. Good for kids and adults. more
Fort Conde is suppose to be a historic site in Mobile. However I find it hard to really understand that when the entired fort has pretty much been rebuilt.
