Probably the best way to see the city. Hop on and Hop off at a multitude of stops. There are 3 lines, green, red and blue. It was 100RMB in May 2012 for a 24 hour ticket, so excellent value. That allows you to go on all 3 lines. I only had time for the red and green line which... More

We stumbled upon the Big Bus Tour on our first afternoon in Shanghai at People's Square. We bought the premium tickets at 300rmb per person. It turned out to be a very good deal for us since we made use of the included river cruise and admission to Shanghai Financial Tower and the Jade Buddha. For three days we used... More

Okay, its kind of expensive but the tickets are good for 48 hours and we entertained ourselves visiting all the sites in Shanghai on a glorious day with sun and relatively clear skies. Would have liked a bit more predictability in route rotation--we waited at the Pudong observatory stop for 45 min which seemed 20 minutes too long. But hey,... More

I know, you are hard core and like to find your own way. But there is a small problem. This is a big city. So we hopped on the bus and rode it around getting a lay of the land on our first day in Shanghai. We actually felt kind of lame doing so, but I'm so glad we did.... More

The big bus hop on-hop off tours were an excellent way to see the attractions of Shanghai. They were fairly constant at most locations between 30 and 40 minutes apart. The two day pass is the best value and gives you time to see most sites including the amazing river cruise that goes for one hour and is included in... More

Bought the ticket in England (48 hour) A great way to see Shanghai. There were three routes - we did them all. Hopped on and off. Stopped for lunch at the cool keys. Stopped off at the Bund and walked along the promenade to the next stop. Entry to 3 attractions were included. Great value. Highly recommended

As this was my first time in Shanghai i didnt want to drive unfamiliar streets etc so i booked two days (one free300RMB) online. They printed the tickets on the day for me with free entry to Jade Buddah (30RMB), a cruise (1/2 hour) on the Huangpu River (150RMB), and entry to Jinmao Tower (120RMB), all up the 300RMB is... More

Guides stationed at the main stops gave us a handful of misleading and incorrect info. Buses had 3 routes but time between buses were about 45 minutes, could take up most of the day to just see 2 places along their route. On a positive note, it does stop at all the main attractions and some of the entry fees... More

Big Bus Tour First, I highly recommend anyone visiting Shanghai take this tour. The price cannot be beat with three tours, hop on - hop off, 24 hours to use the ticket. It gives a completely different perspective of the city because, if you climb to the upper deck, and sit outside, there is so much more above the first... More
